Whilst 2021 was a real period of change for Stackright, the new Senior Leadership Team absolutely recognised that time, energy and money should also be invested in existing colleagues.
In July 2021, The Stackright Training Academy was founded. This onsite facility enabled us to nurture and develop current team members, as well recruiting apprentices from the local community.
Working closely with West Lancashire College, we have been able to give several young people a new career path. Speaking with Danny Cargill (Fit Out Apprentice) and Louis Dutton (Fit Out Apprentice), “We have progressed so much since we first started, we can now build our own cabins. Learning through The Stackright Academy and College has been great. We get on really well with everyone, and absolutely everyone is willing to give you help if you need it.”
In 2022, we hope to grow and develop The Stackright Training Academy further, with a firm focus on in-house development and future planning.
